MyECAT reduces burr formation and improves the piercing and cutting of small contours and thin-walled contours providing precision laser cutting for thick plates. Thanks to modifications to the laser source, the optical fiber and the eVa cutting head, we achieve unprecedented cutting quality on stainless steel and aluminum and exceptionally quick cutting of all medium to thick sheets. The optics and other parameters are automatically adjusted while the part is being cut.
MyECAT makes a 20% thickness increase possible using the same laser power, and improves thick sheet throughput time by up to 50%. It achieves high quality edges and reduces burr formation by up to 80%on aluminum and stainless steel, stabilizing the cutting process for consistent results.
